Failure

Failure.

How do you deal with failure? Failure is apart of the process. In order to see if what we are doing is working some element of failure should happen. But, the problem is people’s relationship with failure. We are taught that failure is bad. During the Lifestyle 6 program some people wanted to quit after missing one session or not hitting their goal. Failure isn’t bad. It helps you to learn. When you aren’t willing to learn from it lies the problem. For me this year I invested a lot of time into coaching a rugby team. We had an amazing year and made it to the grand final but lost on the last day. It killed me and I hated that feeling, but 2 days after the final I went back and watched the final and picked apart everything we done wrong and Im confident we can grow from that and go one better next year. If you have a bad scan assess what you’ve done. Is your sleep as good as your nutrition? Have you been training hard or going through the motions? By avoiding your losses and not learning from them you aren’t learning anything to be better. It’s like quitting your job and trying to live off buying lotto tickets every week. By assessing and being willing to change you will find a lot more success. Learn from your failures.
